Authority Unseen: Six-week Small Study Group

Authority Unseen is a six-week study group designed for anyone interested in better understanding themselves within the contexts of organisations and institutional structures. This could mean thinking carefully about your role in your professional institution or organisation but this group will also be helpful to those working in complex systems in other areas of life, eg. political organising, artistic collaboration, religious institutions, complex family systems. Working from the modality of the 'group relations' tradition (click here for a brief overview), this group's primary task is to describe and uncover the authority dynamics that emerge within itself collectively, given voice through the experiences and expressions of each member. The cost for the whole course is £350 and includes two "Review and Application" groups where each member will have a chance to consolidate their learning and to connect the work from this group with their specific experiences in the external world. We highly recommend this to anybody interested in developing more effective skills in communication and leadership in group and organisational settings.

Meetings take place on Wednesday evenings 6.30–8pm. Authority Unseen will run when enough places have been taken up. Discounted rates may be available for those in financial need. Please email info@psychotherapyeast.org to register your interest.
